Individual Tax Return

Please answer the following few questions to receive an estimate for your individual 1040 tax return

1. What is your first and last name?
We will not contact you unless you request us to
2. How many K-1s do you have to file?
K-1s not only come from active work in a partnership or S-Corp but also from an estate, trust, or a passive investment in a partnership or S-Corp
3. Do you have a home office?
If you run your business from home you may be eligible for a deduction
4. Do you have any household employees?
You need to withhold and pay social security and Medicare taxes if you paid cash wages of $2,000 or more 2019to any one household employee
5. How many annual broker statements showing stock trades, interest income and dividends did you receive?
May be called a 1099 composite statement. Please just show number of statements, not number of trades
6. How many rental properties (Schedule E) do you own?
Collecting rent? Even if not and you are still paying expenses on a listed property, we need to know
7. Do you, your spouse, or dependent have, or are any of you a signatory, on any foreign, offshore, or cryptocurrency accounts or investments with s combined value of $10,000 or greater at any time during the year?
If the total of these accounts combined is greater than $10,000 at any point let us know.  BIG FINE if it's not reported!
8. Did you sell a home this year?
Let us know if this was your primary residence or a second home
9. Did you give a gift of $15,000 or more to an individual during the year?
If married filing joint that amount jumps to $30,000
10. Would you like to receive your final return in digital form for you to print at home or would you prefer we mail a printed copy to you?
There is a $25 fee for printed mail service

The remaining questions only apply if you are a Sole Proprietor who files a form Schedule C declaring the income or loss of your business. If this doesn't pertain to you, please jump to the "Estimate" button below.

11. What is your annual Schedule C gross revenue?
If you are self employed and do not file a separate business tax return you most likely file a Schedule C
12. How many bank transactions per month are on your bank statements?
We'll get an exact number before we finalize your proposal
13. How many charge card transactions per month are on your business charge statements?
Just check your charge account statements for this. Once again, We'll get an exact number before we finalize your proposal
14. How many months has it been since your Schedule C bank account has been correctly reconciled?
We have yet to find a new account that didn't need some amount of clean-up work!
15. How many loans does the business have under its name that are being amortized?
Do you have an auto loan? Did you purchase large equipemnt on loan? Preparing a proper amortization schedule for these items will ensure you receive the correct interest deduction

1. What is the name of your business?
We start off easy!
2. How many bank transactions per month are on your bank statements?
We'll get an exact number before we finalize your proposal
3. How many charge card transactions per month are on your charge statements?
Just check your charge account statements for this. Once again, We'll get an exact number before we finalize your proposal
4. Are your books cash or accrual basis?
Do you track inventory? Do you track A/P and A/R on your books? If not, you're probably cash basis. It will also say on last year's tax return
5. Would you like to include an additional one hour video conference or in-person planning meeting?
Spend an hour going over your return and state of your business
6. What business form are you?
If you file a 1065 you're a partnership, an 1120S you're an S-Corp, an 1120 you're a C-Corp. Just file a 1040? You're a sole proprietor
7. How many employees are on your payroll?
How many paychecks do you hand out per pay period? Do not include anyone not running through your payroll
8. How many months has it been since your bank account has been correctly reconciled?
We have yet to find a new account that didn't need some amount of clean-up work!
9. How many loans does the business have under its name that are being amortized?
